The first Nanjing Yangtze Contemporary Art Fair will be held in Nanjing Xuanwu International Exhibition Center from October 11 to 14, 2018, including two days of VIP professional exhibition day and two days for public, with an exhibition area of more than 12000 square meters.

In 1985, "Jiangsu Youth Art Week - modern art exhibition" in Nanjing opened in Nanjing, after that, a series of important exhibitions and activities held in Nanjing have gradually established a place for Nanjing contemporary art in the whole country. It can be said that the development of Nanjing contemporary art is a miniature of the history of Chinese contemporary art. A large number of influential Nanjing contemporary artists, such as Mao Yan, Guan Ce and Xu Lei, are active on the international stage, forming a unique group of Nanjing contemporary artists.
